What flying experience did you have before you came on the trip?
90 hours and toooooo many little top to bottoms. Minimal experience in UK, 7 weeks in Spain and Mexico.
My longest XC was 25 Km in Mexico Jan 2003 - just 2 weeks before the Brazil trip! Longest flight time was 3 hours at Palo Marret, Spain, Feb 2001. Biggest height gain was 6059ft ATO (12,093ft AMSL), Jan 2003, San Marcos, Mexico.

Why did you decide to go on this trip and course; what were you hoping to gain?
Badly needed to improve my thermalling.

Why did you choose our course, rather than any other?
New you both and respected your knowledge and ability.

How did the course live up to your expectations?
The course and trip were even better than I expected! Not just good but excellent!

How much flying and how many XCs did you do on this trip?

I did 22 flights and logged 20 hours. Distances were: 68km, 59km, 39km, 24km, 14km and many under 10 Km.
I flew very day except the two missed due to poor weather, keen or what ?
The highest I got on the course was 983m ATO(2083m AMSL), and my longest flight was 4 hours 39mn.

What did you learn on the course?
My thermalling technique improved, good to fly in gaggles and I've hopefully removed my blinkers.
