Dear Carlo,
Just a quick note to say that yesterdays CP course that you ran was absolutely fantastic.
As a senior sports instructor in another sport, I tend to look further into the way people teach and how they put across what they would like you to do - I felt that your teaching techniques where unsurpassed, with clear definite objectives that were well thought out to match the changeable conditions that we have and expect in the UK. Although some other (so called) instructors where also present on the hill, it was quite evident to me that you were in a league above.
I thank you for what you managed to do for me, and know you put yourself out more in terms of times.
I wish you all the best and will be coming back for any more instruction and definitely recommending Flybubble to EVERYONE interested in the sport.

Dear Flybubble,
Having completed my EP and CP course with Flybubble over the last one and half years, I felt some form of feedback ought to be forthcoming.
Setting my goals on achieving a Club Pilot rating was without a doubt a daunting and exhilarating process. I can still vividly remember my first day with Nancy, trying to fathom out the spaghetti like strings and her patience and understanding were unbelievable.
The gradual drip feed of knowldege, tips and advice from Carlo, Greg and Nancy were so well timed that their relevance has shaved off years of further learning.
The actual flying demonstrations and tuition by Carlo were sublime and guidance on the purchase of equipment was fantastic.
I would like to say a very big thank you to the Flybubble team for providing such a complete and professional package. It really is no wonder that you attract students from all over England.

Just a short note to thank you for all your efforts in getting me airborne.
The training provided by the team at Flybubble was well organised, professional and great fun. Your advice on equipment has also proved invaluable and the continued help and encouragement you still give me on the hillside is much appreciated.
I asked for the course to be as quick as possible and you made every effort to oblige. I always felt that the training was conducted at a good but safe pace that suited me and built my confidence.
I have already recommended Flybubble to a number of friends and would be happy to be used as a reference for anyone considering using Flybubble.
The February trip to Greece was one of the best activity holidays I have been on and I have been on quite a number. I certainly hope to join you on any future trips.

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed my brief time at Algo. A great location and, I thought, a good set up all round.
My first trip to Algodonales - great area, hilly / mountainous, but with plenty of space around for relaxed outlandings. Magic Griffon Vulture thermal-markers all over the place - all served up with the usual thorough Flybubble guiding and mentoring. I will be back!
Thanks for organising it all so well - I'll look forward to the next time!

Here is a bit of feedback for you...
First of all; I thought the pre-trip information and organisation was first rate. Everything was provided well in advance and all of your checklists were a great help to jog the memory in relation to equipment issues.
During the trip your calm reassuring way of dealing with a group of pilots with varying skills and abilities was fantastic. You managed to assist and provide feedback and advice to all of us throughout the week which was a great help and much appreciated.
The range and variety of flying sites were excellent as were the site briefings...
The airport transfers went smoothly, the hotel was good and the food was great!

Here's my feedback on the trip:
Pre-trip planning (communication, check-lists, etc): Thorough and helpful.
Flying sites: Good number and variety of sites within a reasonable distance. Good take-offs. From a flying perspective, I thought the area offered lots of options in terms of wind direction and thermalling and soaring sites, which increased the chances of flying.
Scenery: Beautiful up in the hills... I thought the area was good if you were going there to spend time in the mountains - flying, walking, biking, etc. The scenery was lovely, the climate was nice and it looked as if you could get away from it all if you wanted to.
Coaching: Excellent, both on the ground and in the air. Crucial on a couple of occasions for staying in the air and subsequently enjoying long flights.
Local guide: Excellent; very experienced and knowledgeable; light touch; decisive...
You and Stelios were a good combination. Stelios had the local knowledge to enable the group to maximise its chances of flying while you provided coaching on the ground and in the air which meant that I was able to stay in the air longer and improve my flying skills. I felt that the two of you working together added an extra layer of safety too. The combination worked particularly well for me at Sikourio, with Stelios getting us there... while it was good and you coaching us in the air.
I thought the area offered a lot of potential for flying and, like you, felt that we only scratched the surface.
I would certainly consider going back there again...

Hi,
Am trying to think of something to criticise but can't. Even before the trip you seemed to have everything thought of, and as for the trip its self I can't fault it.
The accomodation was nice, clean and overlooking a beach.
There was plenty of different sites to choose from and all of them had amazing views.
As for the flying I thought you did everything possible to get us up in the lift.
You were helping out on the radio when you were on the ground and finding the best areas when flying; short of you actually flying the glider for us I can't see what more you could of done.
Would recommend one of your trips to anyone.

"It’s a must. This is a place that you cannot avoid, particularly if you are contemplating SIV."

The course and trip was even better than I expected!
Not just good but excellent!
My thermalling technique improved, good to fly in gaggles and I have hopefully removed my blinkers when flying!
22 flights and 20 hours. My longest flight was 4 hours 39mn!
Distances on this trip were: 68km, 59km, 39km, 24km, 14km and many under 10 Km. My longest XC before was 25 Km in Mexico Jan 2003!

The course was fantastic. I learnt as much if not more than I hoped.
I learnt what is possible, what I am capable of, what I need to do to achieve it, why I love it, and why every one should do it.
Throughout the course I was always aware that the coaches were really taking delight in their students' achievements. I cannot tell you how much more enjoyable that made it.
My success this season has its roots right there... with you guys. It's all your fault ;->

Your skills in the air allowed both you to extend everyones XC flights, hence providing more airtime during which people could learn.
I bettered, then doubled my previous best XC distance and achieved 4x the XC total in three weeks that I had achieved prior to that.
I found the course excellent in respect of information flow
I was extremely happy with the whole experience
