As we are a BHPA Registered School, to do a paragliding course or tandem paraglider flight with us you are required to take out BHPA Membership for the duration of your course (or on the day of your tandem paraglider flight). This is the same for any BHPA Registered School.

One day of BHPA Membership is included in the price for Tandem Paraglider Flights, One Day Introductory Paragliding Lesson and our Two Day Introductory Paragliding Courses

Payment for BHPA membership has to be made separately, to the BHPA (either by Cheque made out to 'BHPA' or by giving your debit/credit card details) as it goes directly to the BHPA themselves.

For the BHPA 3-Month 'Training' and 12-Month 'Full Annual' Membership, the BHPA will issue you with a membership number and send you the monthly edition of the association's magazine, Skywings.

BHPA Individual Membership Fees

Note: When joining the BHPA for the first time for BHPA 3-Month 'Training' Membership or BHPA 12-Month 'Full Annual' Membership there will be an 'Instructional Insurance Capitation Fee' (IICF) of £15 to pay. Renewal of Membership will not re-incur this charge providing there is no break in membership. BHPA Day Membership IICF is £9.

Cost: £10 (includes £9 IICF)

BHPA 3-Month 'Training' Membership

Period: 3 Months
Benefits: 3rd Party Insurance, 3 Skywings Magazines
Cost: £55 (including £15 IICF)

BHPA 12-Month 'Full Annual' Membership

Period: 12 Months
Benefits: 3rd Party Insurance, 12 Skywings Magazines, Full BHPA Membership
Cost: £99 (including £15 IICF)

Upgrade BHPA 3-Month 'Training' Membership to 12-Month 'Full Annual' Membership

Period: 3 - 12 Months (adds 9 months to BHPA 3-Month 'Training' Membership)
Benefits: 3rd Party Insurance, 12 Skywings Magazines, Full BHPA Membership
Cost: £56 (Total cost £111)
