Tuesday the 7th of June proved to be a superb day's flying from Bo Peep hill, with quite a few paraglider pilots managing some challenging cross country flights, exploring the complex areas of lift around the nearby Sussex South Downs hills, and some farther a-field!...

We had a fantastic day's flying from Bo Peep hill on Tuesday 7th June...

Before I tell the story of the day's flying, here's why the flying conditions on this day were unusual for Bo Peep...

I got to the hill around 11am - rather late for a good cross country day...

I took off on my paraglider, and negotiated the very crowded skies watchfully...

The Beardless One and I thermalled around on our lofty paragliders together for awhile...

After exhausting the lovely lift we had been in, drifting back from Bo Peep hill...

Our upwind glide to Monsieur Cumulus over Alfriston worked very nicely indeed!...

When I took this picture, The Beardless One and I were up-high near the edge of Seaford...

The 'usual' things to do from Bo Peep hill are...

I was a little disappointed that The Bearded One had not followed me...

Lots of sink often means that somewhere nearby there's lots of lift...

Now higher than I'd been for the rest of the flight, with the sea breeze convergence not that far away from me...

I ended up landing towards the outskirts of Eastbourne next to the A259...
